In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with artist and horsewoman Kasia Bukowska for a deeply powerful conversation about illness, identity and the unexpected ways we can find ourselves again.
Kasia shares the moment her life changed overnight when a severe lupus diagnosis left her bedridden and told she would never ride horses again. In the space of a week, everything she knew about herself, her independence, her passions, her future was stripped away.
What followed was a journey she never expected.
We talk about how art became a catalyst for her healing, allowing her to confront perfectionism and OCD by embracing imperfection on the canvas. At the same time, her relationship with horses transformed from one rooted in control to one built on presence and emotional connection. Through liberty work and working with difficult horses, Kasia began to see animals not as something to master, but as mirrors reflecting our deepest emotional patterns and hidden wounds.
This conversation explores what it means to sit with discomfort, surrender to the healing process, and find transformation in the places we least expect it. Kasia’s story is a powerful reminder that sometimes the very thing that breaks us open can lead us back to who we truly are.

In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Jennifer Newberg, founder of It’s Lifey, for a deeply honest conversation about grief, loneliness, kindness and the life-changing power of connection.
Jennifer reflects on the moment her world changed forever, losing her husband Jack suddenly while they were on a trip to Greece and the traumatic chaos that followed: being far from home, navigating unimaginable logistics and then returning to a life that no longer looked or felt the same. She speaks candidly about the profound loneliness of widowhood, the panic attack that became a turning point in her healing, and the reality that for so many widows, connection is not just comforting, it is survival.
But this episode is equally about what Jennifer chose to build from that pain.
Drawing from the power of community she had experienced in recovery, Jennifer created It’s Lifey as a safe, judgment-free space where widows can be seen, supported and understood. Through support groups, retreats and the launch of Hopehub, she is building a place where women can move through grief together, speak openly and find real healing in shared experience. Jennifer also unpacks the ways society misunderstands grief, the loneliness epidemic surrounding widowhood and why education, acceptance and community matter so deeply.
This is a conversation about loss, but it is also about purpose. About taking the most painful chapter of your life and turning it into something that helps other people feel less alone.

Why does making real friends feel harder as we get older?
In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Lee Hopkins for a candid conversation about self-acceptance, vulnerability and the courage it takes to build authentic platonic connections.
We unpack how people-pleasing, fear and performance keep us isolated and what changes when you learn to speak from the heart instead. From skipping small talk and creating memorable conversations, to identifying healthy friendships at work and in your social circles, Lee shares practical tools for cultivating deep, meaningful bonds rooted in trust and growth.
This episode is an invitation to stop chasing connection and start building it with intention, authenticity, and self-respect.Check out all of Lee's work on: https://www.patternsofpossibility.com/

In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Michael Yearby, a 24-year Air Force Master Sergeant and author of The Anime Mindset for a raw and honest retelling of a life shaped by discipline, heartbreak and reinvention.
From growing up on the tough streets of Miami to serving across the United States, Japan, Germany and South Korea, Michael’s journey is one of movement physically, emotionally and spiritually. But beneath the medals and rank were private battles. Marriages fell apart. His sense of identity fractured. Losing his marriage didn’t just break his heart, it shattered who he believed he was as a father, husband, leader and man.
He lost himself. He lost the man he thought he would become.
And unexpectedly, anime became the mirror that helped him rebuild.
Through the complex, layered stories of animated heroes who endure loss, failure and transformation, Michael found language for his own pain. He began applying the lessons of resilience, purpose, discipline and redemption from these characters to his real life, rebuilding his identity, finding love again and stepping into a version of himself that feels aligned, intentional and whole.
This isn’t just a conversation about anime. It’s about mindset. It’s about redemption. It’s about choosing to rewrite your story when it feels like everything has fallen apart.Check out Michael's Work, Book, Podcast all here: https://www.michaelyearby.com/anime-mindset-order

In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with marketing executive, agency founder and unapologetically human leader Allie Grack, a woman whose journey defies the traditional narrative of privilege and polish.
From adoption and foster care to becoming a teen mother, Allie’s early life was shaped by instability, constant change and the need to fiercely advocate for herself. Long before boardrooms and business strategy, she was learning how to read people, navigate uncertainty and create clarity in chaos. Those early survival skills would later become the foundation of her leadership.
Today, she leads Workhorse Marketing, a company born not simply out of ambition, but from frustration with an industry that too often values ego over honesty. With a fully remote, all-women leadership team, Allie is building something different, redefining what aligned success, empathetic leadership and sustainable impact actually look like in practice.
In this deeply reflective conversation, we explore how adversity sharpens instinct, how advocacy builds confidence and how resilience isn’t something you’re born with, it’s something forged.
This episode is about ownership. It’s about wearing your story with pride and refusing to let your circumstances define your ceiling. If you’ve ever questioned whether your past disqualifies you from success, this conversation might remind you that it could be the very thing that qualifies you most.New Episodes out EVERY TUESDAY 6:00am AEST. In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Joel Conwell Arcieri for a deeply reflective conversation about change, identity and the slow, often uncomfortable work of becoming who you really are.
Joel shares his journey from life as a pastor to working in tech, studying counselling and eventually stepping into leadership coaching and writing. Rather than framing this as a dramatic pivot, he speaks honestly about the internal shifts, of questioning old frameworks, unlearning certainty and learning how to sit with vulnerability, responsibility and growth in a more human way.
We explore leadership, emotional intelligence and the tension between who we were taught to be and who we’re becoming. Joel reflects on how stories both the ones we inherit and the ones we tell ourselves shape our capacity to move forward.
The conversation also weaves through Joel’s writing, including Your Missing X-Factor, which centres on self-actualisation through simple, repeatable mantras and his children’s book The Boy in the Tree: When Weak is Okay, a gentle exploration of vulnerability, emotional awareness and why strength doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.
This episode isn’t about having answers, it’s about learning how to ask better questions, show up with integrity and keep moving forward with honesty. A thoughtful, grounded conversation for anyone navigating change, leadership, or the quieter inner work of growth. You can find all his work on: https://jconwell.org/

In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Sarah and Jeremy to explore a love story shaped by timing, patience and the quiet moments that change everything.
What begins with a fleeting encounter, one person enamoured at first sight, the other mildly irritated, slowly unfolds into something far deeper. Through chance meetings, long conversations, shared interests and an unhurried friendship, Sarah and Jeremy’s connection grows in a way that feels rare in a world obsessed with instant certainty.
This episode isn’t just about how they met, it’s about how love builds when no one rushes it. How trust forms through small gestures. How commitment shows up long before it’s ever named.
We also delve into one of the most layered and bespoke proposal stories, a moment crafted with extraordinary care, intention and emotional insight, reflecting not just that they chose each other, but how deeply they understand one another. It’s a proposal that could only belong to these two people, thoughtful, meaningful and quietly powerful.
A warm, funny and deeply human conversation about noticing each other, choosing patience and allowing love to grow into something lasting, one moment at a time.

In this episode of Just Enamoured, I’m joined by Karin, a certified self-love and mindset coach who shares her journey from high-pressure environments and corporate work to freelancing, coaching, and purpose-led living.
Karin reflects on the moments that pushed her inward, from the pause of the pandemic to therapy, deep self-reflection and learning to question the version of success she had been chasing. We talk about purpose as something that evolves over time, the courage it takes to trust yourself and why inner work doesn’t have to feel like constant struggle, it can be grounding, clarifying and deeply fulfilling.
This conversation explores self-trust, vulnerability as strength, and what it really means to build a life that feels aligned, not by escaping responsibility, but by listening more honestly to yourself.
A reflective and empowering episode for anyone questioning their path, their purpose, or what “enough” really looks like.

In this episode of Just Enamoured, I’m joined by Rosanne Nieboer, a yoga teacher, meditation podcaster, and chakra educator with 20+ years in the practice for a conversation that quietly shifts how you understand yourself.
Rosanne opens up about living inside the realities of work, responsibility, and family life and how over time she realised she’d been doing yoga for years, feeling its impact, but not fully understanding why it worked as deeply as it did. What followed wasn’t a dramatic reinvention, but a slow, grounded unfolding… one that eventually led her to build The Chakra Way and go all-in on her mission and purpose.
If you’ve ever felt a little lost in the noise of life, this episode offers something practical: a new way to listen to your body, name what’s happening beneath the surface and understand the “inner map” you’ve been carrying the whole time.
Come for the story. Stay for the perspective shift. You can find all her work on: https://chakra-way.com You can also find her Podcast on: The Chakra Way Meditation Podcast
